Ron Doyle Ron Doyle is the Director and senior instructor for the Juvenile Justice Training Academy at TCC. He has a B.A. in Religion and an M.S. in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. He has worked as a counselor, supervisor, and program director in a variety of settings with both juveniles and adults, including adolescent residential treatment, community mental health, adult forensic psychiatric hospitalization, and as clinical director of a suicide and crisis intervention program. Prior to joining the Academy in 1993, Ron worked for several years as a residential program specialist in the state program office of Juvenile Justice.

Dale Martin Dale Martin received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State University. His entire career has been devoted to juvenile justice, including 18 years of direct service work with youth and their families and 12 years training other professionals in working with youth. He was employed at Florida’s first halfway house for juvenile offenders from 1971-1980. From 1980-1989 he was Clinical Director for a co-educational, substance-abuse treatment program for juveniles and adults. He has been an instructor with the Juvenile Justice Training Academy and its forerunner, the Professional Development Center, since 1989. Mr. Martin has provided training not only on issues of juvenile justice, delinquency, and substance abuse, but also on issues surrounding dependent (abused and neglected) children.

Scott McNutt Scott McNutt has been an instructor with the Juvenile Justice Training Academy since 1993. He received both his Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. Scott has 17 years experience in assessing and treating adolescents, substance abusers, and families in both private and criminal justice settings. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional, and Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional.

Marilyn Anderson Marilyn Anderson received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Florida. She has 25 years experience working with children’s programs in Florida. Prior to becoming an instructor for the Juvenile Justice Training Academy in 1997, Marilyn was a Program Administrator with the Department of Juvenile Justice, responsible for all non-residential programs in District 13 (5th Judicial Circuit). She has experience in many delinquency and dependency programs, bringing a broad base of knowledge to share with trainees.


Whitney Sampson Whitney Sampson has been with the Juvenile Justice Training Academy as Training Registrar since April 1997. She is responsible for the Academy's trainee registration system for the Northern Judicial Circuits.

Eileen Jones Eileen Jones has been with the Juvenile Justice Training Academy since 1998 as Secretary and fiscal assistant. She is responsible for purchasing, accounts payable, travel processing, human resources, and budget processing.
